摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, when a no-diaphragm electrolytic cell with a simple structure is used for producing peroxodisulfate from sulfuric acid ions and/or hydrogen sulfate ions by electrolysis as the conventional method, peroxodisulfate as a product is decomposed by cathode reduction, and current efficiency declines.
SOLUTION: An electrolytic solution 7 comprising sulfuric acid ions and/or hydrogen sulfate ions is electrolyzed in a non-diaphragm electrolytic cell 1 to produce peroxodisulfate. In this case, hexavalent chromium ions are dissolved in the electrolytic solution, so that the reducing decomposition of the resultant peroxodisulfate is suppressed by the hexavalent chromium ions to realize high current efficiency.

SOLUTION: A percarbonic acid compound is synthesized by oxidizing an electrolytic solution 2 containing carbonate ions or bicarbonate ions by using an anode 3 having conductive diamond as an anode substance. Since the water electrolysis overpotential of the conductive diamond anode is high, oxygen generation due to water electrolysis hardly occurs, thus efficiently causing the formation of a percarbonic acid compound due to the anode oxidation of carbonate ions or bicarbonate ions.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional food preservation method such as that though ice composition containing ozone or the like is used in conventional food preservation, there is a problem in the aspect of long-term preservability and the example of having performed food preservation from both sides of sterilization power and cooling power is not known. SOLUTION: These are an ice composition being made by freezing the liquid where hydrogen peroxide manufactured by electrolysis is dissolved, and a food preservation method making use of it. The hydrogen peroxide is smaller in vanishing velocity into air than ozone, and is excellent in long-term preservation property, and further since the hydrogen peroxide is manufactured electrolytically, it does not take time for carriage, preservation, and dissolution. Furthermore, the fusing point of the ice composition being obtained by using saltwater as the material water for electrolysis becomes below zero, so it becomes possible to cool food powerfully.
