摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of identifying an agent which modulates a NFAT regulatory protein.SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of contacting at least one test agent with a recombinant cell comprising at least one NFAT regulator protein or fragment or derivative thereof, assessing the effect of the test agent on an activity, interaction, expression, or binding to the NFAT regulator protein or fragment or derivative thereof, and identifying the test agent that has an effect on an activity, interaction, expression, or binding to the NFAT regulator protein or fragment or derivative thereof, thereby characterizing the identified test agent as an agent that modulates a NFAT regulator protein. There is provided a method for identifying an agent which modulates intracellular calcium.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying an active substance which modulates an NFAT regulatory protein (nuclear factor of activated T cells) in the regulatory region of a calcium-regulated transcription family.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for identifying an active substance which modulates intracellular calcium, the method comprising the steps of contacting at least one test active substance with a recombinant cell comprising at least one NFAT regulator protein or fragment or derivative thereof, and assessing, identifying and characterizing the effect of the test active substance on an activity, interaction, expression, or binding for the NFAT regulator protein or fragment or derivative thereof. There are also provided a method for screening for an active substance which modulates NFAT regulator functions, a method for diagnosing unexplained immunodeficiency in a subject, and a method for identifying an active substance for treating or preventing a disease or disorder associated with a NFAT regulator protein or calcium signaling.
