The band body (10) provided with a plurality of band length adjusting holes (20) in the longitudinal direction is formed by a support layer (12b) made of carbon fibers. The support layer respectively has a first resin layer on the front surface and a second resin layer on the back surface. The support layers (12b) are respectively inclined at a prescribed angle (such as 45 degrees) along the extension direction of the carbon fiber bundles of the support layer relative to the longitudinal direction H and horizontal direction of the band body (10). The strength of the body of the band is greatly increased and the peeling of other members is prevented in advance in application when the band is broken or twisted.

      SOLUTION: A band, a wristwatch and a method of making the band are described. The band body (10) with a plurality of holes (20) provided therein along a length thereof for adjusting the length thereof is composed of a support layer (12b) of carbon fiber fabric or the like having a first resin layer on the surface and a second resin layer on the opposite surface respectively. The support layer (12b) is formed in a manner that bundles of carbon fibers of the support layer extend at a predetermined angle (e.g. 45 degrees) to longitudinal direction H and transverse direction of the band body (10). Thus, the strength of the band body is greatly improved, and breakage of the band during its use or separation of another member from the band due to the twist is prevented.
