    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head substrate which enables good recording even when an environmental temperature, a recording duty and a recording head itself are different, and to provide a recording head, a head cartridge, and a recording apparatus using the recording head.
      SOLUTION: The head substrate has the following configuration. That is, the head substrate has a plurality of heaters, a constant current source which generates a constant current for driving these heaters, and a reference current generating circuit which generates a reference current for generating the constant current. Moreover, the head substrate is equipped also with a MOSFET which drives the plurality of heaters by the constant current obtained by driving the constant current source according to the reference current, and a switch which regulates a time when the reference current is generated. An opening and closing time of the switch is enabled to be controlled from outside.
