    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a bar material from swinging by deflecting by using a sevomotor as a motor for a material feeder and a motor to move a main spindle, and outputting a command to impart constant torque to the motor for a material feeder so as to absorb play of a transmitting means when the respective motors are synchronously driven. SOLUTION: A main spindle 3 of an NC automatic lathe 1 is moved in the main spindle axis direction by a motor 5 to move a main spindle, and a bar material 2 is supplied by inserting the main spindle 3. A bar material supply device 8 is constituted so that a feeding bar 21 having a finger chuck 20 to grip the rear end of the bar material 2 is moved by a chain conveyor 22 driven by a motor 26 for a material feeder. In this case, the motor 26 for a material feeder and the motor 5 to move a main spindle respectively use a sevomotor, and are controlled so that a moving command to synchronously drive them is outputted to the respective motors 5 and 26 from a control device and a constant torque command is imparted to the motor 26 for a material feeder so as to absorb play such as looseness of the cain conveyor 22.

    • PURPOSE:To enable a decrease in a delivery quantity to be surely detected further prevent a cutting chip from causing a trouble as staying or the like, by allowing a part of cutting oil, supplied to a delivery port, to flow into an auxiliary tank communicating with an outlet part and detecting the position of a liquid level. CONSTITUTION:A device causes no switch to operate in the position where cutting oil allowed to flow into a cutting oil tank 10 obtains a normal liquid level SL. Next the cutting oil, if its pressure in a pipe increases due to blocking or the like of a cutting chip in a delivery port to lift the liquid level, causes a float 13 to rise, and if the liquid level reaches the upper liquid level at abnormal time, a switch 16 closes, while the detecting device, decreasing a pressure of the cutting oil in the pipe to lower the liquid level due to failure of a cutting oil pump or blocking of the chip in the pipe and closing a switch 18 if the liquid level reaches the abnormal bottom liquid level LL, alarms a decrease in quantity delivered of the cutting oil by generating each signal. In this way, the generation of a trouble due to insufficient supply of the cutting oil and the generation of a flame due to overheat of the cutting chip can be prevented before occurrence.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an electrically driven engagement and disengagement mechanism for fixing a turret firmly at an indexing position on a supporting base and releasing the fixing without need for an additional motor. SOLUTION: This turret tool rest device is provided with a movable engagement member 40 capable of being engaged with both of supporting base 20 and a turret 24. The movable engagement member 40 is provided with an annular cam part 46 connected to the back, end of a main body part 42 through a plurality of legs 44 and an annular coupling part 48 attached to the front end of the main body 42 with bolts 47. The annular cam part 46 is provided with a driven ring element 74 slidably-accommodated in an annular groove path 70 at a groove cam ring element 72. When the supporting base 20 makes X-axis movement on a tool slide, the driven ring element 74 rotates within the annular groove path 70 at the groove cam element 72 to move the groove cam ring element 72 in the axial direction. It is thus possible to engage and disengage teeth 54 formed at the annular coupling part 48 with the fixed teeth 58 of the supporting base 20 and the rotating teeth 62 of the turret 24.
