摘要： PURPOSE:To control the production of sulfur oxide in an exhaust gas system to incinerate spent ion exchange resin with the use of an incinerator by pretreating positive ion exchange resin of the spent ion exchange resin into a substance in which the sulfur oxide does not produce. CONSTITUTION:Spent ion exchange resin put out from a condensate demineralizing tower is housed in a spent resin receiving tank 1. After a water content of the spent ion exchange resin housed in the tank 1 is lowered down to 5% of a degree of slurry concentration, the resin is fed to a centrifugal extractor 3 with the use of an extractor feed pump 2 and after it is treated down to about 50% of a water content, it is sent to a mixer 5 through a moisture meter 4. Here, a quantity of cation resin is calculated on the basis of the measured value of the moisture meter 4, and, for instance, sodium hydroxide 25% solution in alkali metal or alkaline earth metal is added from an addition tank 6 with the use of an addition pump 7 to uniformly mix with the use of a mixer 5 so that a sulfur content may becomes sulfate. The resin is sent to an incinerator resin hopper 8 to mix to incinerate together with other combustible micellaneous solid.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable filter in all layers and to prolong the service life of the titled filter by providing an auxiliary precoat tank and precoating a coarse precoating material on a fine precoating material. CONSTITUTION:A granular fine precoating material such as ion exchange resin powder is dispersed in a precoat tank 6 and fed to a filter 1 through a circulation path 5 to form a precoated layer on filter elements 2, and filtrate is circulated through the circulation path 5 and a bypass 8. After the elapse of a definite time, in case of injecting a coarse precoating material consisting of a fibrous material such as a cellulose-base filter medium dispersed in an auxiliary precoat tank 9 and continuing the precoat, the granular precoating material remaining in the precoat tank 6 is mixed with the injected fibrous precoating material and the mixture is precoated. The ratio of both is reversed according to continuation of the precoating and only the fibrous precoating material is finally precoated and therefore complete filter in all layers can be performed.
