    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a burner using a composite throttling calculation wherein a flow rate coefficient of the burner can be treated as a practically measured value matched to the state of a fluid. SOLUTION: A combustion control method for a burner is adapted such that: An equation, V=√ (Q2/(P0-Q2/N2)) is derived from a relationship between a relation among supply pressure P2 of a fluid at the front of a burner when burners 11A, 11B are used as a fixed throttle, a flow rate Q of the fluid, and a flow rate coefficient N of the burner, and from a relationship among difference pressure P0-P2 of the fluid across a flow rate adjustment valve when the flow rate adjusting valve is of a variable drawing, the flow rate Q of a fluid, and a flow rate coefficient V of the flow rate adjustment valve. Into the equation there are inserted a practically measured value of supply pressure P0 on a primary side of the flow rate adjustment valve, a practically measured value of supply pressure P2 at the front of the burner, and a flow rate coefficient V' of the flow rate adjustment valve calculated from a practically measured valve opening S' of the flow rate adjustment valve. Hereby, an actual flow rate coefficient N' of the burner is calculated, which is inserted into an equation, N'=V'√ (P0-P2)/√ P2.
