摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hour for repair by remelting and removing a defective part by an arc or plasma then adding a filler metal to the inside of the molten pool thereof and melting the said metal. CONSTITUTION:A casting 1 having the casting defective part 2 is first preheated to about 450 deg.C. The defective part 2 is remelted by the heat input of the arc or plasma 10 via an inert gas seal 9 to form the molten pool 11. The defective part 2 floating on the pool 11 is removed and thereafter the filler metal 12 is added to the inside of the molten pool 11 and build-up welding is executed. The volumetric component of the defective part 2 is repaired by the above- mentioned method and the recess on the surface of the cast iron is repaired as well. The repair welding is thus made easy and the man-hour for the repair is considerably reduced.

As a result, the productivity of the aluminum composite powder is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a gas seal by positioning the outside surface of a supporting rod on the inside by s specified dimension from the edge surfaces of a power generating layer and an interconnector, and filling a glass seal material to which ceramic powder is mixed in a recess. CONSTITUTION:A supporting rod 11 is arranged so that its outside surface (b) is positioned by a specified dimension from the edge surfaces (a) of a power generating layer 7 and an interconnector 6. A recess 14 is formed and a glass seal material 15 to which ceramic powder is mixed is filled in the recess 14. The glass in the glass seal material 15 has a softening point of 900 deg.C or more but 1100 deg.C or less. The ceramic powder is zirconia same as the material of the power generating layer 7, and the mean particle size of the zirconia powder is about 5-15mum. Since the reaction temperature during power generation becomes 1000 deg.C, glass in the glass seal material 15 is softened and glass seal is performed on the outside of the supporting rod 11, but hanging down of the glass is prevented by the ceramic powder. The reliability of the glass seal is enhanced.

The sealing property between the fuel cells 5 and the periphery of the fuel duct 19 storing the fuel cells 5 can be satisfactorily held.
