摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent coagulation of particles by stirring the lower part of a flow layer, to take out, from the upper part of the flow layer active particles together with a part of water under treatment and send them back to the flow layer after micro- organisms are removed from them, and thereby to operate biological denitrification more effectively. CONSTITUTION:Unprocessed water containing nitorus or nitric compounds is drawn from supply intake 1 into a denitrification reaction tower and is brought into contact on dispersion plate 3 with flow layer 4 consisting of denitrifying-bacteria- attached active particles and is sujected to detrification reaction, and then the water under treatment is discharged from pipe 2. In the lower part of flow layer 4, coagulation of sedimentary particles is prevented by means of a stirrer 5. Active particles to which micro-organisms are attched excessively and which have low specific gravities are taken out together with water under treatment sent from pipe 7 provided in the upper part of the flow layer and are passed through pump 8, and thereby excessive micro-organisms are removed from the particles, and then the water is sent back to the reaction tank from pipe 6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To oxidize and decompose hydrazine within a short time, by bringing hydrazine-contg. waste water into contact with one or more being selected from pure oxygen, oxygen-contg. gas and oxygen-generating substance in the presence of the catalyst of Raney copper. CONSTITUTION:One or more of pure oxygen, liquid oxygen, air, oxygen-contg. waste gas and oxygen-generating substance such as hydrogen peroxide are individually or conjunctly supplied to and brought into contact with hydrazine- contg. waste water in the presence of the catalyst of Raney copper by the process of a completely mixed, stationary or moving bed, to oxidize and decompose hydrazine. The supply amount of oxygen is sufficient at a value of 1.2 times a theoretical amount necessary for the oxidation of hydrazine. A reaction temperature and reaction pressure may be at ordinary values without the need to especially raise a temperature or to highten pressure. This method does not require complicated operation but enables to perform oxidizing decomposition within a short time.

摘要： PURPOSE:The means of performing aerobic treatment of organic substances in waste water with microbes by a rotary filter bed process. CONSTITUTION:Inorganic packings of less than 1.0 in apparent specific gravity are packed in a permeable hollow rotator which rotates with portions thereof being held submerged in waste water, and microbes are deposited on the packings to form a rotary filter bed 3. Where the rotary filter bed 3 having been packed with said packings is gently rotating in a microbe reaction vessel 2, raw water 1 is introduced and the orgainc substances in the raw water are microbe-decomposed aerobically by the microbes deposited on the packings. The treating water 4 having been purified is sedimented and separated and the sedimented sludge is drawn to the outside of the system as excess sludge. The treating water is flowed out as final treating water 7 from a sedimentation vessel 5.

The obtained catalyst is preferably used at a low temperature especially below 100 deg.C, preferably at an ordinary temperature.

摘要： PURPOSE:To accomplish re-use of water containing a carrier and a peeled off microorganism by circulating the water as is through the bottom of a fluidized bed in a method of denitrifying waste water by forming a fluidized bed empolying a carrier having the microorganism attached thereto. CONSTITUTION:Raw influent 1 is injected into the bottom of a reaction column and evenly dispersed by a dispersion plate 3. Then, together with circulating treating water fed on to the dispersion plate 3 with a circulating pump 12, it fluidizes a medium having microorganisms attached thereto in such a manner as to form a fluedized bed 4 for denitrification. A part of the treating water reaching the top of the column is withdrawn from a line 11 to be inducted into the column again as a circulating treating water with the circulating pump 12 while the remainder thereof is drained out of the top of the column as treated water. The circulating pump 12 sucks the medium with sludge attached, peels the sludge off the medium by a shearing force of sucking pump blades, and finally sends the sludge and the medium to the bottom of the fluidized bed.
