摘要： PURPOSE:A polyol to give a polyurethane resin having improved strength, heat- resistant stability, weather resistance and oil resistance, obtained by subjecting a specific butylethylpropanediol and a polycarboxylic acid to polycondensation. CONSTITUTION:A polyester polyol obtained by subjecting 2-n-butyl-2-ethyl-1,3- propanediol and a polycarboxylic acid to polycondensation. Phthalic acid, adipinic acid, dimerized linolenic acid, or maleic acid is used as the polycarboxylic acid. The polyester is reacted with a polyisocyanate, to give a polyurethane resin. Methylenebisphenyl isocyanate, tolylene diisocyanate, 1,5-naphthalene diisocyanate, etc. are used as the polyisocyanate.

Preferred org. solvent is methyl ethyl ketone, methyl formate, etc. The dispersant is useful for dispersing several org. dyes or pigments, inorg. pigments, body pigments, fillers, etc., in a liquid medium.

摘要： PURPOSE:A polyisocyanate-containing resin composition protected so that the isocyanato groups do not undergo deterioration due to atmospheric moisture, temperature, etc., by dispersing a bi- or higher-functional isocyanate in a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A bi- or higher-functional isocyanate is dispersed in a thermoplastic resin not reactive with isocyanato groups and almost devoid of water absorptivity. The resulting polyisocyanate-containing resin composition is mixed with a polymer or oligomer containing, in the molecule, an isocyanato-reactive group such as amino, hydroxyl, urethane linkage or urea linkage. The resulting mixture is reacted by heating it to a temperature above the melting temperature of the thermoplastic resin. The addition ratio of the bi- or higher-functional isocyanate to the thermoplastic resin is preferably such that the ratio of the weight (I) of the bi- or higher-functional isocyanate to the weight (R) of the thermoplastic resin, I/R, is below 4, and the effective NCO % of both components is 1-40%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molding which is excellent in hardness, modulus of elasticity, tensile strength and oil resistance, does not dissolve in a polar solvent and does not melt thermally by compounding thermoplastic resin to which a compound containing an isocyanate group is compounded to thermoplastic polyurethane resin and forming the resin. 摘要： PURPOSE:To prepare the title composition giving a coating film having excellent mechanical properties, containing only a small amount of solvent which vaporizes during the film-forming process, by mixing a specific polyurethane prepolymer and a polyfunctional polyisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:A coating composition is propared by mixing (A) a prepolymer solution of a (reduced) solid content of >= 80 wt%, and obtained by reacting (a) a reaction product having terminal isocyanate group obtained by reacting (i) a polypropylene glycol having a molecular weight of 1,000-2,000 with (ii) tolylene isocyanate at an OH/NCO ratio of 1.3-1.95, with (b) 1,4-butanediol at an OH/NCO ratio of 1.3-2 : 1, in a solvent such as methyl ethyl ketone, ethyl acetate, etc., and(B) a polyfunctional polyisocyanate having three or more functional groups, e.g. a compound obtained by reacting 1 mole of trimethylol propane with 3 moles of tolylene diisocyanate. The OH/NCO ratio of the composition is 1:1-2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To stabilize the dispersion of magnetic particles by forming a dispersant of the resultant product of reaction of a silane coupling agent having a reactive org. functional group and an org. polyisocyanate and incorporating >=1 free isocyanate group therein. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic layer is formed of the magnetic particles, binder resin and dispersion consisting of a dispersant and medium. The dispersant is the resultant product of reaction of the silane coupling agent having the reactive org. functional group and org. polyisocyanate and has at least one free isocyanate group. The dispersant acts to disperse easily and stably the magnetic particles into the liquid medium contg. the binder resin in the stage of dispersing said particles into the medium. The resultant dispersion is free from gelation, thickening or settling and separating of the magnetic particles by flocculation even after long-period preservation. Bleeding on the surface of the coated film and the decrease in the strength of the coated film are obviat ed and the electrical, chemical and physical performances of the coated film are rather improved even if the magnetic layer is formed by coating the result dispersion on a substrate and drying the same.

The mixing weight ratio of the polyester polyol to the vinyl chloride resin is 100:80-100:200.
