摘要： PURPOSE:To improve fire resistance of smoky fireproof glass by freezing and/or heat-treating an hydrous gel comprising a polymer of an (meth)acrylamide of specific formula I or formula II or its derivative and a finely granulated metal oxide. CONSTITUTION:Finely granulated metal oxide such as colloidal silica is blended with a (meth)acrylamide of formula I or formula II [R1 is H or methyl; R2 is H, methyl or ethyl; R3 is H, methyl, ethyl or propyl; A is (CH2)4-6, etc.] or its derivative and a photopolymerization initiator in a given ratio to give an aqueous stock gel solution. Then glass plates 2 and 2' having opposing faces treated with a silane coupling agent are set at a given plate interval, provided with a spacer 3 made of Al through a sealing material 5 and a sealing material 6 is bonded to the outer peripheral part to give a plural layer glassy structure. The aqueous gel stock solution 4 is packed into the space of the structure, is sealed and cured by irradiation with ultraviolet rays. Then, the plural glassy structure is frozen and/or heat-treated in a given temperature cycle to give smoky fireproof glass 1 having >=10% haze value.

A blind opening/closing operation section can be made compact and simple, the airtightness of the sealed space 9 can be improved, and the beautiful appearance can be improved.
