Since the treating liquid 1 is moved in the interior of the member 200 by this inertia force, the member 200 is impregnated with the treating liquid 1, irrespective of hydrophobic properties or hydrophilic properties of the member 200.

SOLUTION: In this ink cartridge, a liquid container body for forming a liquid storage chamber is constituted of an ink container 511 and a lid 512. A cover 515 is joined to a side face of the liquid container body by fitting hooks formed to the cover 515 into fitting cylinders 511a and 512a. A projecting part 511b which is a relatively large structure having an impact resistance is formed to a contact face of the ink container 511 to the cover 515. A recessed part 515b is formed to the cover 515 to which the projecting part 511b is inserted thereby being fixed. Even when the ink cartridge is dropped, the projecting part 511b is fixed to the recessed part 515d and consequently a relative movement of the liquid container body and the cover 515 is restricted. A stress applied to the fitting cylinders 511a and 512a and the hooks can be reduced accordingly.

When an orifice plate 6 is bent along the edge parts 31, 32 and bonded, an arc can be formed at the bend of the orifice plate 6 depending on the bending stress because the cuts 33, 34 are made and the face 6b of the orifice plate 6 is prevented from floating or projecting significantly.

When the information storage medium holder 8 changes the position and direction, the fluid connection part of the recorder body and the connection part of the information storage medium can be connected without generating any stress at the connection part regardless of some shift in the relative position and the relative direction.
