SOLUTION: The position counter 402 controls to clear as a carriage 1 exists at a first reference position, and after the value of the position counter 402 is made '0', a carriage motor is caused to scan until a first reference and second reference sensors operate. In this way, during movement of the motor, an encoder pulse signal is counted by the position counter 402. As the second reference sensor is operated, the encoder pulse is stopped in counting by the position counter 102. The stop position is a distance from the first reference position to the second reference position, and it is decided by a place in which a sensor is installed in advance. Then, an encoder discrimination is calculated by an encoder discrimination part 62.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a high speed and favorably accurate counting of the number of ink dischargings by a method wherein driving data, which are operated so as to correspond pixel groups to a plurality of discharging ports, are serially transferred in synchronous with a predetermined transfer clock through a same signal line so as to count the data alloted to a specified discharging port in the driving data. SOLUTION: Eight-bit data, which are transferred from signal lines 8D1 and 8D2 in synchronous with clock signals SCK1 and SCK2 and which correspond to heaters H1-H16, output signals LT1 and LT2 when the clock signals SCK1 and SCK2 stop, resulting in latching 8 but latches 501 and 502. Next, when signals ENB1 and ENB2 are outputted, signals corresponding to stuck data are supplied to respective transistors tr1-tr16 so as to heat the respective heaters H1-H16 in order to discharge ink from respective discharging ports. In addition, the output sides of decoders 509, 511 and 510 and 512 are connected to the J and K terminals of JK filpflops 513 and 514, so as to count only the data at a first scanning by counters 513 and 514.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the color mixture caused by a fixing soln. by sending out recording control data corresponding to the arrangement of emitting parts and forming emission control data in the predetermined ratio to the quantity of recording operation data to control emission control. SOLUTION: A drive control signal is supplied to a feed roller driving part 8 to control the same based on the drive control signal. Recording paper 2 is held between paper feed roller units 4, 6 to be intermittently fed to a paper discharge part. A carriage part 12 is arranged in opposed relation to a recording surface 2a to support guide shafts 10a, 10b extending almost in parallel to the paper feed roller units 4, 6 in a slidable manner. When a drive control signal is supplied to a carriage driving part 18, the driving motor 26 of the carriage driving part 18 is controlled in driving on the basis of the drive control signal and the carriage part 12 is guided by the guide shafts 10a, 10b accompanied by the movement of a belt member 16 to be moved by predetermined quantity. By this constitution, the use ratio of an ink emitting part can be averaged without generating a color mixture.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease black and white streaks and unevenness in density occurring around a place where areas of images recorded by each one of horizontal scannings adjoin each other by a method wherein a recording head is moved in the vertical scanning mode so that the second image area is partially placed on top of the first image area. CONSTITUTION:The first image area is recorded by making an ink jet recording head operated in the horizontal scanning mode. In proceeding to the recording of the second image area by making the recording head move in the vertical scanning mode after completion of the recording of the first image area, the vertical scanning is made so that ejection ports No.1-No.3 are operated in overlapping the first image area. Pixels in the area covered with the above- mentioned overlapping are applied with two times of ink jetting; namely one ink jetting per each of two scannings. The density of the pixels in the said area is controlled by total amount of ink droplets ejected thereto. Thereby black and white streaks and un-evenness in the density occurring around the place where the areas of images recorded by each of the scannings adjoin each other are considerably reduced.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a stable output even if a tuning fork resonance frequency is varied by providing a 2nd filtering means which has the same characteristics as that of a 1st filtering means between a piezoelectric element for drive detection and a synchronizm detecting means and making the gain of a synchronizm detection signal constant. CONSTITUTION:Piezoelectric elements 15 and 16 for detection detect the angular velocity by multiplying the vibration speed of an X-directional resonance frequency by the input angular velocity and an amplifier 29 outputs detection voltages from the elements 15 and 16 as an amplification detection voltage. The signal from a BPF 30 is detected synchronously by a synchronous detecting circuit 31 based on the movement voltage from a phase shifting circuit 28 to generate a synchronizm detection signal. Namely, the circuit 28 shifts the signals from the piezoelectric elements 13 and 14 for drive detection in phase by 90 deg. and the synchronizm detection signal is proportional to the angular velocity. Further, only the low frequency component of the synchronizm detection signal passes through an LPF 32 and is outputted by an output amplifying circuit 33 as a voltage matching the system.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the capacity of a data memory and a program memory in a signal processor and to miniaturize and simplify the processor by varying sampling frequency. CONSTITUTION:The digital signal processor has an analog pass filter 1, an A/D converter 2 for converting the output of the filter 1 into a digital value, a digital signal processor(DSP) 3 to be a controller for a feedback control system, a D/A converter 4 for converting the output of the processor 3 into an analog value, a plant 5 to be controlled, a differentiator 6 for operating a difference between the output of an object value A and that of a controlled variable, and an adder 7. The sampling frequency is varied to make an input signal discrete and use a part of the data memory or the program memory in the DSP 3 in common. Consequently, the capacity of the program memory and the data memory in the DSP 3 can be reduced and the processor can be miniaturized and simplified.
