SOLUTION: A development frame 63A is provided with a development roller 12, a toner storage part 63a, and a coating roller 19. A toner supply opening 63Ae to supply the toner stored in the toner storage part 63a to the development roller 12, and a development roller mounting part to mount the development roller 12 along the toner supply opening are provided. Connection surfaces 63n which are connection surfaces to be connected to a toner frame 63B having the toner storage part 63a and provided on one end side and the other end side in the shorter side direction of the toner supply opening 63Ae along the longitudinal direction of the toner supply opening 63Ae, and a projecting part provided so as to be across the connection surfaces 63n are provided. A development cartridge can be miniaturized compared with the conventional construction. More toner can be stored with the development cartridge of the same size as the conventional one.

Thus, when a user loads the developing cartridge in the cartridge loading part of the image forming device main body, the developing cartridge of another color which is not fit to the cartridge loading part is prevented from being loaded.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a backlash of a magnet roll as miniaturizing a developing device and reducing the number of part items by positioning the magnet roll in the thrust direction by an electrode member energizing a developing sleeve. SOLUTION: A magnet roller 2 made of an integrally molded plastic magnet rotating in one direction is disposed in a cylindrical developing sleeve 1 made of non-magnetic metal, and a flange 4b is fastened to one end of the developing sleeve 1 together with an electrode 6 and is fitted to a developing unit main body 3 via bearing member 5b. A sleeve electrode 6 fastened to the flange 4b contacts with an electrode plate 7 fastened to a holder 9b so as to supply a bias voltage to the developing sleeve 1. A protrusion 7b protruding from one part of the hole shape portion of the electrode plate 7 presses the magnet roller 2 to the holder side 9a of the other end side by the elastic force of the protrusion 7b so as to position the magnetic roller 2 in the thrust direction. Thereby, the magnet roller 2 can be held at a fixed position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly feed even transfer materials of different sizes having width approximate to specified width to an image carrier by providing an oblique guide rib having an angle to the direction of conveyance of a transfer material. SOLUTION: Seven pairs of guide ribs 31 are provided at intervals in the right-and-left direction on the surface of a rush-in rib 33 on the side of a transfer material carrying path, and further the oblique guide ribs 32 obliquely laid from the lower end of the 3rd pair of guide ribs 31 to the upper edge of the 4th pair of guide ribs 31 between the 3rd and 4th pairs of guide ribs 31 when counted from the center. Even when the leading edge of the transfer material fed toward a photoreceptor drum is warped to both side parts to cause the deformation such as turning-over by the action of the rib 32, the deformation is regulated in the direction where the transfer material is made flat by the rib 32, consequently, the transfer material is smoothly transferred toward the photoreceptor drum. Therefore, the transfer material of every size can be guided smoothly toward the photoreceptor without being caught by the rib 33.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the hermetic sealability of the end part seal members of a developer carrier and a developing means frame by providing groove parts into which the end parts of the end part seal members are inserted in the vicinities of the end parts of the developing carrier. SOLUTION: Supporting parts 41e1 for supporting the end part seal members 45 are provided on the sides of the opening parts 41c of end part connecting parts 41e and the seal grooves 41b for accepting the end parts 45a of the end part. seal members 45 are formed on a longitudinal rib 41a, to be successive to the supporting parts 41e1 . The seal grooves 41b have the same width as that of the end part seal members 45 and are constituted so that the end parts 45a of the end part seal members 45 are inserted into the seal grooves 41b. Two opposed faces of the seal grooves 41b are in contact with side surfaces in the vicinities of the end parts 45a on the side of the longitudinal rib 41a of the end part seal members 45 respectively, to prevent the outflow of toner. Thus, the hermetic sealability of the end part seal members 45 of a developing sleeve and the developing means frame 41 can be surely held and the attachment of the end part seal members 45 to the developing means frame 41 can be facilitated.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a developing device which is simple, is constituted to allow the reduction in the size of the diameter of a developing sleeve and is capable of impressing voltage on the developing sleeve by forming one supporting member of a conductive member and disposing the conductive member in such a manner that the member comes into direct contact with a developer carrying member. CONSTITUTION: The developing sleeve 6 which is the developer carrying member is supported freely rotatably at their both ends by sleeve bearings 11, 12 which are the supporting members. The developing sleeve 6 is rotationally driven by receiving driving force at a sleeve gear 14 mounted at the end face of the sleeve. AC bias is impressed on the developing sleeve 6 at the time of image formation. The direct impression of the AC bias on the sleeve bearing 12 from the AC power feed contact 113 of the device body is made possible by forming the sleeve bearing 12 of the conductive member. Then, the impression of the voltage on the developing sleeve 6 by the simple constitution is made possible and the reduction in the diameter of the developing sleeve 6 is embodied.
