摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blanket fitting mechanism for preventing a blanket and a blanket cylinder, the blanket and the blanket cylinder used for it, and a printing apparatus using them, a printing method, and printed matter obtained by using them. SOLUTION: In the blanket fitting mechanisms applicable to an offset press in which ink is supplied to an original plate, after the excess ink is scraped off by a doctor blade, a pattern on the original plate is received by the blanket 113, and a pattern on the blanket 113 is transferred to matter to be printed and printed, when the blanket 113 is fitted to the blanket cylinder 110 installed in the offset press, a mechanism for integrating the blanket 113 and the blanket cylinder 110 is provided. Preferably, the offset press and the printing method use the blanket fitting mechanism.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately print by a method wherein the problem of uneven abrasion of the blade edge face in an intaglio-plate printing pattern in a doctoring process is resolved to prevent the generation of linear leftover of ink on the plate due to insufficient contact of the blade. SOLUTION: The depth of an intaglio plate pattern 1 is at least 5 μm, and linear grooves 2, 3 having the depth of 0.5-2 μm is worked on the outside part of the recessed pattern. By this process an offset printing method having a doctoring angle of less than 90 deg. to the direction of grooves on the intaglio plate for printing and an image-forming device equipped with the intaglio plate for forming an element electrode can be obtained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a polishing accuracy of a doctor blade edge, to accurately upgrade ink filling and to shorten an operating time by providing a polishing table for polishing the edge on a flat surface in the same plane as a flat plate- like intaglio. SOLUTION: A polishing table 120 is provided on a flat surface in the same plane as an intaglio 105, and the table 120 is horizontally operated to polish in parallel direction with the edge while the edge of the blade 117 is brought into contact. That is, when the edge is worn or damaged, a doctor blade 117 is moved to the table 120, the table 120 is moved in parallel with the edge horizontally to polish the edge of the blade 117. Thus, the doctor blade edge can be easily polished without work of removing the blade, and the edge is polished horizontally in parallel while maintaining the contact state of the doctoring, and hence an excess load is not applied to the edge, and the edge can be accurately polished.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print the pattern shape of a plate correctly and three-dimensionally by an ink layer by changing the polarity of a surface printing layer when ink is received and transferred. SOLUTION: The polarity of a surface printing layer is changed when ink is received and transferred. Namely, an intaglio 1105 is filled with ink 1107, and a blanket 1113 is rolled to receive the ink. The surface energy of the dry blanket 1113 is appropriately high so that the ink can be peeled off from the intaglio 1105. A solvent contained in the ink penetrates into the surface printing layer of the blanket, and the cohesive force of the ink increases with the decrease of the solvent. But in the blanket, the polarity changes by the absorption of the solvent to reduce the surface energy. Next, the blanket 1113 is rolled on a work 1106 to transfer the ink. Since the surface energy of the blanket 1113 is reduced, the ink is transferred quickly onto the work 1106.

The surface of the intaglio 28 is slid in a direction perpendicular to the printing direction by a doctor blade 36 to scrape the ink retained by the scraping. In this case, the grooves of the blade 36 are formed in the state superposed wit a longitudinal length of the pattern 35 of the surface of the intaglio 28. In both the steps, the grooves of the blades are sufficiently pressed to an upper position of the pattern 35 on the intaglio 28 to thereby sufficiently charge the ink in the pattern 35 and to simultaneously scrape the excess ink.
