    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and to control a lens barrel, when lens barriers are abnormally closed or the lens barrel is collapsed by detecting whether the lens barriers are in closed states on not and by executing the drive control of the lens barrels. SOLUTION: A contact type detecting switch 13 arranged between a lens barrel frame 1 and a barrier driving ring 4 outputs an ON signal in such a manner that a movable section 13a is pushed by a plane part 4f of the barrier driving ring 4 in which the lens barriers 9 and 10 are turned to fully closed positions to come into contact with a fixed section. Therefore, the lens barrel frame 1 reaches a collapsed position, when the lens barriers 9 and 10 are in fully closed states, the ON signal is outputted from the detecting switch 13 and a CPU stops a driving motor. On the other hand, when the barrier driving ring 4 is stopped regardless of the fact that the lens barrel frame 1 reaches the collapsed position, the CPU judges that a defect that the barriers are in fully closed states, occurs to reversely rotate the driving motor and return the lens barrel 1 to a photographing standby position.

SOLUTION: Substance obtained by incorporating a cylindrical sand-proofing rubber 21 having a light shielding property on the outer periphery of a spring 20 is attached to the gap between the inner surface side of the photographing aperture part 19a of the photographing frame 19 and the outer periphery part of the front edge of the lens holding frame 15, and the spring 20 always energizes in the withdrawing direction of the holding frame 15 so as to prevent the foreign matter and the harmful light beam entering from the gap between the photographing aperture part 19a of the frame 19 and the outer periphery of the holding frame 15 even when the holding frame 15 is moved in an optical axis direction due to focusing driving.

    • PURPOSE: To eliminate possibility that dust is accumulated in a clearance between a barrier cover and a barrier blade to hinder the action of the barrier blade by providing a projection part protruded toward the barrier cover only at the tip of the barrier blade and near the center of the rotation thereof. CONSTITUTION: A pair of barrier blades 4 and 5 driven by a barrier blade driving ring 3 is arranged at a position just before the barrier blade driving ring 3. The rail-state projection parts 4g, 5g, 4f and 5f protruded in the front surface direction of the barrier blade are formed only at the tip parts of the barrier blades 4 and 5 and near the center of the rotation thereof. The projection parts come slidable contact with the vertical end plate part 9a of the barrier cover 9 arranged at the position just before the barrier blade. Therefore, even when the dust 10 gets into the clearance between the cover 9 and the blades 4 and 5, it is discharged to a lens barrel 2, so that the dust 10 is not accumulated in the clearance.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a moving mechanism free from risk that the engagement of a ratchet tooth and a catch are not released by constituting a mechanism so that the depth of a tooth space of a 2nd ratchet tooth may be made narrower than that of a 1st ratchet tooth. CONSTITUTION:A cam ring 4 is provided with a part largely projecting from the outer peripheral part toward the outside in a radial direction, and four ratchet teeth 4b to 4d are projectingly provided on the front side of the projecting part. Then, the depth of the tooth space of the 2nd ratchet tooth 4C is made narrower than that of the 1st ratchet tooth 4b. Thus, such the state that the catch 8a for a lever 8 is engaged with the ratchet tooth 4C is released by applying a force smaller than the conventional one. And also, even in the case the tooth space of the ratchet tooth 4C becomes larger than the original one due to the secular change (wear), a gap between the leading end part 14a of a movable yoke 14 for an electromagnetic plunger 11 and a hole 13a of a fixed yoke 13 can be prevented from becoming equal to or exceeding a prescribed value when the electromagnetic plunger 11 is not operated, that is, when the catch 8a is engaged with the ratchet tooth 4C.
