    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an excessive pressure from being applied to a gas permeable film when a gas is sucked through the gas permeable film. SOLUTION: An air chamber which communicates with an ink reservoir via the gas permeable film is formed above the ink reservoir in a sub tank to which the ink from a main tank is supplied. Gas-liquid separation in the ink reservoir can be executed via the gas permeable film by making a suction pump suck the air chamber, so that inflow of the air to an inkjet head is suppressed. A pressure control unit 90 is installed between the air chamber and the suction pump. The pressure control unit 90 has an opening 91c which communicates with the outside. A valve 92 releases the opening 91c when the pressure in a pressure control chamber 91 becomes lower than a predetermined value. The space 16 is formed between the absorber 14 and an inner wall of the sub-tank 4. The ink from the supplying port 18 is guided to a plurality of division openings 22 opened at an upper part of the storage chamber 10. The space 16 is prepared under the division opening 22. The division opening 22 is formed to have a larger crosssection as it becomes farther from the supplying port 18.
