In inner space parts 5, 6 formed by a pair of the cylindrical parts 7, 7', 8, 8' a cylindrical bush 9 without providing an outer cylinder is press fitted, and by connecting an inner cylinder 11, provided in a central part of the bush 9, to a vibrating part of engine or the like or to a fixed part of car body or the like, displacement and vibration in the vibrating part are suppressed.

CONSTITUTION:In a pulley main body 1 formed by integrating the cylindrical body 4 on a boss part 2 installed on a rotary output shaft through a wave part 3, a first damper mass 6 is installed on the outer circumferential side of a cylindrical part 4 through a first elastic body 5. In the inner side space of the cylindrical part 4, a second damper mass 9 which is formed in a cylindrical shape as a whole is arranged by interposing a second elastic body 8 between the end surface of the damper mass 9 and the wave part 3. Between an inner cylinder 14 and the intermediate cylinder 18, an elastic body 24 is bridged. Between the elastic body 24 and a recessed part 22, a through cut-out part 26 being an vacant space is formed, and on the opposite side of the through cut-out part 26 via the inner cylinder 14, a cut-out part 28 is formed from the outer circumferential part, and a liquid chamber 30 (30A) in the inside of which water or the like is filled is constituted. In the elastic body 24, a through cut-out part 31 which is a vacant space of nearly the same shape as the through cut-out part 26 is formed between the liquid chamber 30 (30A) and the inner cylinder 14.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the durability by providing elastic wall parts facing a plurality of small liquid chambers, which are expanded and contracted with displacement between an inner and an outer cylinder and put in communication through a restriction passage, bending these elastic wall parts in the direction of expansion and contraction of the small liquid chambers, and thereby preventing generation of great defoliating force. CONSTITUTION:An inner cylinder 30 and an outer cylinder 32 are arranged coaxially, and an intermediate cylinder 34 is fixed inside this outer cylinder 32 through an elastic member with small wall thickness 36. Between this and the inner cylinder 30 a cylindrical elastic member 38 is set over, and small liquid chambers 40, 42 are filled with the liquid and in communication with the periphery of the intermediate cylinder 34 through a ring-shaped recess. The periphery of this recess is shut by the outer cylinder 32 to become a restriction passage 44, and serves as a moving path when either of the small liquid chambers 40, 42 has an increased pressure. A stopper 46 protruding to the small liquid chambers 40, 42 is fixed at the periphery of the inner cylinder 30 covered with a small wall thickness part as extension of the above-mentioned elastic member 38, to perform restriction of the amount of motion when the inner 30 and outer 32 cylinders make relative movement. Thus no major stresses are concentrated on the elastic members constituting liquid chamber even at the time of relative movement between the inner and outer cylinders to ensure that the elastic members are installed certainly and the durability enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the shortage of a pipe having small effective area by supplying fluid into a hollow chamber 18 of the main body of a vibration absorber which is made of resilient material, making the communication of both said pipe and the hollow chamber, and inserting a mass body having a greater density than said fluid into said pipe. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical resilient boby 16 is bonded between a base plate 12 and a top plate 14 with vulcanized rubber. A hollow chamber 18 which is defined by those plates is to be used as an air chamber. One end of a pipe member 22 is communicated with the base plate 12 and the other end thereof is open to the atmosphere. A spherical mass body 24 is disposed inside the pipe member 22 and is able to be moved in the longitudinal direction of the pipe member 22. Vibration generated in an engine therefore acts to the resilient body 16 via the top plate 14 so that air column resonance is produced inside the pipe member 12 to absorb the vibration. By having the mass of said mass body 24 greater than air mass inside the pipe member 22, resonance can be apropriately produced to absorb the vibration even if the pipe member 22 is short.

    • PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture by simple construction and reduce the manufacturing cost by adjusting fluid resistance of liquid in a slender restricted passage so as to obtain damping effect due to liquid column resonance against vibration of various frequencies input from a vibration generating part. CONSTITUTION: Vibration generated in an engine is transmitted to a liquid chamber 13 through a vibration absorbing main body 10, electroviscous fluid in the liquid chamber 13 is moved through an orifice 18, and the vibration is absorbed by the passing resistance. An electrode plate 21 and the outside wall 24 of the lower end part of an outer cylinder 9 are made to carry a current through lead wires 22, 22A, viscosity of electroviscous fluid in the orifice 18 is adjusted, and because the orifice 18 is formed along a circular-arc-like protruded part 6 into a slender shape of long axial measure, even if engine vibration is generated extending over a wide range of frequency, various liquid column resonance vibration absorbing effects corresponding to these are obtained. In this way, manufacture is facilitated by simple construction and the manufacturing cost is reduced.
