SOLUTION: This protection canopy structure for operator cab of construction machinery 1 such as, in particular, a roller for road or a soil compressor is provided with a protection canopy 8 arranged on at least one front side frame part 9 and at least one rear side frame part 10. This protection canopy structure is constituted in such a way that the frame parts 9, 10 are turnably arranged on the construction machinery 1 to deploy or fold down the protection canopy structure to move it to a work position or a transport position by optional selection and the whole protection canopy 8 is arranged to move in the horizontal direction to the construction machinery 1.
