    • PURPOSE:To reduce the abrasion of a tire slip preventing device so as to prolong the life thereof by winding a fitting made of soft materials and having ground contact tips, around each narrow width frame part of a slip preventing body so as to secure the same to the latter. CONSTITUTION:Grooves are formed in a part of each frame section having a hexagonal shape in a plan view in a slip preventing device 10, and fittings 34 made of aluminum killed steel of about S20C hardness and each having a ground contact surface from which ground contact chips 40 are projected, are wound around the outer peripheries of the outer frame parts 14 and are secured to the latter by caulking. The attachment of the ground contact chips onto the fittings 34 is made by fitting the columnar ground contact chips 40 in recesses 38 formed in the fittings 34 on the ground contact side and are then brazed to the fittings with the use of copper solder 42. With this arrangement, the projecting height of the ground contact side 34a of the fittings may be reduced, thereby it is possible to prevent abrasion.

CONSTITUTION:A tire antiskid device 10 forms plural pieces of projection parts 22 at both ends in the cross direction of a body 20,and also forms each setting hole 24 in each of these projection parts 22. In addition, a rope 36 is attached to the projection part 22 at one side via a hook 34, and each of loop parts 50 and 52 is formed at both ends of this rope 36 by a caulker 38. And the hook 34 is not attached to a projection part 22B to be set up in a longitudinal one end of the device 10 but a hook 54 of a clamp 54 is caulked instread. In addition, at this clamp 54, there is provided with a hook 60 for engaged use of insertion to the loop part 50 between these hooks 56 and 58.

    • PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive metal fitting which is excellent in the durability and reliability by forming a small bottomed hole for caulking in a flange from the periphery of a hole in the flange, into which a nipple is to be inserted, toward the hole, and allowing the bottomed part of the small hole to project toward the nipple after the nipple is inserted into the flange. CONSTITUTION:A small bottomed hole 19 is drilled by a drill, etc., at a symmetrical position of an aluminum alloy flange 12 toward a hole 18, into which an aluminum alloy made nipple 11 is to be inserted. After the nipple 11 is inserted into the hole 18, a punch is pressed into the bottomed hole 19 to allow the bottomed part of the bottomed hole 19 to project to deform 20 the hole 18 inwardly. Thus, the periphery of the nipple 11 is caulked to fix the nipple 11 to the flange 12 integrally. When the bottomed hole 19 is formed at a symmetrical position of the flange 12, the pressing position of the punch is always stable, a point 21 is positively caulked, and a drawback in that the punch deviates from the point to damage the appearance, is eliminated. Thus, a metal fitting which eliminates the need for rust preventive processing and which is excellent in durability can be obtained.

CONSTITUTION:Many mounting metal fittings 40 are fixed to a tire slip- preventive device main body 12 on the side corresponding to the side surface of a tire positioned on the inner side of a vehicle, and a long rope 42 is fixed to the other ends of the mounting metal fittings 40, the one end of the rope 42 is formed in loop section 42A to which the middle portion of a fixing hook 44 is fixed. A threaded hole 46 is formed in the top end section 44B of the hook 44 faced in the lateral direction of the main body 12, and the male section 50 formed at the top end 48A of a guide body 48 is screwed into the threaded hole 46 to unite the hook with the guide body 48. The eye section 42B formed at the other end of the rope 42 is fixed to the hook 44 by inserting and guiding it from the inserting base section 48B of the guide body 48.

CONSTITUTION:In a tireslip preventing device 10, a body in line form is formed by connecting a plurality of lug members 14 arranged in parallel each other by the rib members 16 arranged at right angles to the lug members 14. A hook 18 is installed at the edge part in the longitudinal direction of the rib member 16, and a rope 20 as installation member is laid and fixed into the hook 18. The rope 20 is formed into a loop form by installing stop metal fittings 22 and 24 at the edge part of the rope 20, and the edge part of the lug member 14 is installed onto a tire 12. Further, a plurality of projection pieces 26 and 28 are projected from the lug member 14A arranged at the edge part of the body of the tire-slip preventing device 10, and a projection part 29 in inverted triangular form is formed. Therefore, when the tire slip preventing device 10 is installed onto the tire 12, each projection part 29 is arranged in the intruding state each other.
