摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent excessive torque transmission with light weight and a simple structure. CONSTITUTION: A power outputting member 3 is fitted to a main body member 4 through a frictional member 5 which is an elastic member having an outer diameter a little larger than an inner diameter of the power outputting member 3 for generating compressive repulsion. When a torque exceeding allowable limit is applied, sliding torque is generated between the frictional member 5 and the power outputting member 3. The frictional member 5 is made of short fiber oriented rubber. Short fibers are exposed on an outer side surface of the frictional member 5. A surface of the power outputting member 3 opposed to the surface on which the short fibers are exposed is a resin surface. Lubricant is not necessitated on a friction boundary between the short fiber oriented rubber surface and the resin surface.

CONSTITUTION:A tension roller 6 is made to abut against a belt 5 passed around a drive pulley 3 mounted on a base frame 2 and a driven pulley 4 so that a fixed tension is applied to the belt 5 to perform a running test. The tension roller 6 is so arranged to move upward and downward mechanically with a cam 7. The cam 7 is fixed on a shaft 17, which 17 is linked to a variable speed motor 21 as drive motor through a coupling 20. Thus, a tension applying means A is formed in which the tension roller 6 is moved upward and downward with the cam 7 with the rotation of the cam done by the transmission motor 21.

An insert bearing 6 and the spring support 13 are integrally formed so that, with this state, a friction force is generated between the inner peripheral surface of the wall part 15 and the outer peripheral surface of the boss part 7 and between the inner peripheral surface of the boss part 7 and the outer peripheral surface of the insert bearing 6 and slide in a forward direction is performed. This constitution simultaneously assembles the insert bearing 6 and the spring support 13 as a damping part and facilitates an assembly work.

Furthermore, the supporting plates 12 are flexed and deformed with their outside ends sliding on the inner face of the cylindrical body 11, because it is not fixed on the ends of the supporting plates 12. In this arrangement, anti-vibration effect in a wide range are attainable.
