    • PURPOSE:To improve the circulating characteristics of fluidized heat medium and thereby to improve the operational efficiency of the boiler by providing a cleaning means and a drying means in the regenerating and circulating passage of fluidized heat medium. CONSTITUTION:The fluidized heat medium used in a incinerator 1 is extracted regularly and continuously by a medium extracting nozzle 8 and cleaned by a water washer 9 to remove attachements thereof and then drained by a draining means 10. Then the fluidized heat medium is transported by a transporter 11 to a drying means 15 to remove water remining therein completely. The drying means 15 has a drying tower 22, a ventilation member 19 disposed in the lower portion of the tower 22, and an air inlet 20 on the bottom of the tower 22. In operation, the cleaned fluidized heat medium 23 is thrown inside the drying tower 22 on the ventilation member 19 and hot air is fed into the tower 22 through the air inlet 20. The fluidized medium 23 is dried while it is fluidized. Thereby the fluidized medium 23 can be prevented from solidifying and accumulating to make a smooth circulation, resulting in an improvement of operational efficiency.

    • PURPOSE:To supply quantatively substance with high viscosity such as sludge etc. by letting steam flow into a shaft of screw feeder, where the steam is heated, and by equipping the outlet of the feeder with a slit plate. CONSTITUTION:A shaft 2 of screw feeder transporting the viscous substance in a hopper 9 is designed by a jacket construction, into which steam is supplied, and the shaft 2 and screwed blade 1 are heated. By this construction, the moisture in the viscous substance is gasified and the surface of screw is covered by the vapour, so that the substance's attaching to the screw is prevented and the substance can be transported continuously in a constant quantity. Further, variation in the supply quantity due to any change in the level or property of the material in the hopper 9 is suppressed by equipping the outlet with a plate 10 having a slit hole, which is to work as a resistance plate. Thus stabilized supply in a constant quantity is assured.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an EP ash supplier which eliminates a possibility of EP ash clogging and a need of provision of a regenerator of a fluid medium by providing a pump which can transport a fluid of a high viscosity to the upstream side of a fluidized furnace. CONSTITUTION:The dry EP ash E2 temporarily pooled in a hopper 30c is introduced into a humidifier 18 via a rotary valve 31. On the other hand, the fluid medium increased in volume by molten matter being attached in the course of EP ash incineration within the fluidized furnace 1 is floured by a certain amount through an overflow pipe 5 and supplied to the humidifier 18 after cooled to a certain temperature by a medium cooling means 17. The EP ash humidified in a proper condition, the fluid medium regenerated and the molten matter removed from the fluid medium are mixed by a mixer 19. Then the mixture is pooled temporarily in a hopper 20 and then sent to the pump 21, which feeds the mixture of a high viscosity via a pair of supply pipes 22a and 22b to a fluidized layer from the stop and side wall of the furnace 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the plugging of the outlet part of a cyclone with a falling refractory by providing a collecting means for collecting the falling refractory inside of a cyclone vessel with respect to the cyclone vessel for separating ash portion in a combustion gas and using the refractory as an inner wall. SOLUTION: The high temp. combustion gas flowing in from an inlet plenum provided at a top center part of the cyclone vessel 7 is distributed to plural numbers of cyclone main bodies 15 arranged on the peripheral part of the side wall of the cyclone vessel 7, descends along the cylindrical drum part inside wall from the inlet of each cyclone main body 15 while swirling and during this time, the ash portion moves to wall direction by centrifugal force and is separated from the gas stream. In such a case, a collector 37 made of a grating member is mounted between a vessel outlet 35 and an ash portion outlet 21 of the cyclone main body 15. The position where the collector 37 is mounted can be at the inside wall of the cone part 29 at the downstream side of the ash portion outlet 21 where the lined refractory is most probably stripped and falls down though not particularly restricted.
