    • PURPOSE:To relax concentration of the stress of a toe of weld, by a method wherein, in a membrane wall for a boiler, a metal formed with a curved plate part and a flat plate part is situated to the toe of weld of the membrane, and the toe of weld, the metal, and pipes are welded together for connection. CONSTITUTION:Two curved plate parts 15 formed in a manner to curve along the outer periphery of a pipe 1 are welded to a flat plate part 16 through the medium of weld parts 18 to form a metal. The curved plate part 15 of the metal is welded to pipes 1 through the medium of weld parts 17, and the flat plate part is welded to a toe of weld part 9 of a membrane bar 2 through the medium of a membrane end part weld part 19. The membrane bar 2 and the pipes 1 welded to each other through the medium of fillet weld parts 3. Since a tensile force transmission area is large when a tensile force is exerted on a membrane wall, this constitution enables dispersion of stress and prevention of concentration of stress.

    • PURPOSE: To provide a once-through boiler, in which a thermal stress is reduced, by reducing a temperature difference between water walls of respective boilers, which is generated upon starting the boiler. CONSTITUTION: In a once-through boiler, comparatively low temperature fluid is supplied into the boiler, in which high-temperature fluid is retained, by the water pouring operation upon starting such as hot start and the like and, therefore, the low temperature fluid flows along the order of a fluid route and, therefore, a temperature difference due to the time difference of temperature changes is generated between water wall panels having different fluid routes whereby a thermal stress is generated. Accordingly, a temperature difference between two water wall panels (5 furnace wall 1 and a second sub-side-wall 15), having a large temperature difference and different fluid routes, can be mitigated by installing a water wall panel (a first sub-side-wall 2) consisting of a fluid route for fluid having an intermediate temperature of the fluid temperature in these water wall panels, between two water wall panels (a furnace wall 1 and a second sub-side-wall 15), having different fluid routes and whose temperature difference is large.

CONSTITUTION:A first connecting part 8a is arranged at a corner part where a side wall 11 of a furnace wall 1, a bottom wall 4 of a sub-side wall 2 and a side wall 5 are connected to each other in a three-dimensional manner. In turn, a second connecting part 8b is arranged at a corner part where the bottom wall 4 of the sub-side wall 2, the side wall 5 and a front wall 6 of a rear part heat transmitting wall 3 are connected to each other in a three-dimensional manner. A slit 14-1 having a predetermined length is formed in a direction where the sub-side wall bottom wall 4 extends from the connecting part 8a while this connecting part 8a being applied as a starting point. A slit 26-1 having a predetermined length is formed in an upward direction where a side wall 5 of the sub-side wall 2 extends from the connecting part 8b while the connecting part 8b being applied as a base point.

    • PURPOSE:To improve properties of following up the temperature of a furnace wall of an anchor and to reduce a repeating thermal stress generated at a tie-in weld part by a method wherein anchors arranged in a manner to be divided into parts above and below a tie bar with which the outside of the furnace wall is horizontally surrounded and the furnace wall are secured to each other by whole peripheral welding of the anchor. CONSTITUTION:A furnace wall 1 is supported by a boiler steel frame 7 through anchors 2a and 2b, a tie bar 4, stoppers 3a and 3b, and a back stay 5, and at a horizontal force exerting period during earthquake, the furnace wall 1 is prevented from a swing. In relation with downward heat elongation during operation of a boiler, slide can take place at a nip part between the lock member of the anchor and the stopper 3a. The anchors 2a and 2b are mounted at whole peripheral weld parts 13a and 13b to the furnace wall 1. By effecting hole peripheral welding of the anchors in positions above and below the tie bar 4, the properties of following up the temperature of the furnace wall 1 of the anchor are improved. By eliminating weld tie-in between both ends of the anchors 2a and 2b and the tine bar 4, heat dissipated from the anchor is reduced. Further, a temperature difference between the furnace wall 1 and the anchors 2a and 2b produced during the starting and the stop of a boiler can be reduced to a low value, and a repeat thermal stress to the whole peripheral weld parts 13a and 13b.
