    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device for illumination which achieves downsizing of the lighting device body, houses a cord reel efficiently in the luminaire to improve handling of an electric wire, and in which winding up and feeding operation of the electric wire can be made further smoothly with stable lifting operation, and an unstable factor such as inclination of the luminaire during lifting operation can be eliminated.
      SOLUTION: An electric wire 3 which supplies power supply from a lifting device body 1 to the luminaire 8 is suspended, and a cord reel 11 for winding up or feeding the electric wire 3 according to lifting operation of the luminaire 8 is housed in the central space 9 surrounded by an annular lamp 3 in the luminaire 8. The cord reel 11 is arranged so that the winding up center axis M of the electric wire 3 may be horizontal in a state that an electric wire leading out entrance 11a in which the electric wire 3 comes in and out faces toward the ceiling 4 side.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device for illumination capable of containing a manufacturing cost by reducing the number of recessed grooves provided in a rotary drum and downsizing the lifting device.
      SOLUTION: The lifting device for the illumination includes a lifting device body 1 installed in a ceiling, a rotary drum 2 supported rotatably by the lifting device body 1, a drive motor 5 for rotation driving the rotary drum 2, a wire 6 wound around the outer circumference part of the rotation drum 2, and a luminaire 8 installed at one end of the wire 6. The luminaire 8 is lifted and declined freely by winding the wire 6 to the rotary drum 2 or by being sent from the rotary drum 2 by the rotation of the rotary drum 2. The wire 6 is made of a plurality of pieces, and a line of recessed groove 20 is provided at the outer circumference part of the rotary drum 2 in parallel with the rotation face and throughout the whole circumference, and the plurality of wires 6 are wound around and housed in the recessed groove 20 so as to be in swirl shape in a plan view in the nearly plane face including the recessed groove 20.

The wire 6 is made of a plurality of pieces, and a line of recessed groove 20 is installed at the outer circumference part of the rotary drum 2 in parallel with the rotating face and throughout the whole circumference, and the plurality of wires 6 are wound around and housed in the recessed groove 20 so as to be swirl shape in a plan view in the nearly horizontal plane including the recessed groove 20, and a detection part 9 which detects movement in horizontal direction of the portion of wires 6 wound moving in inside and outside direction of the recessed groove 20 due to increase and decrease of the winding thickness of the wires 6 wound in the recessed groove 20 and stops the rotary drum 2 is installed.
