摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slit pipe in which a torque transmission property at least in one-way rotation is improved and which is prevented from being axially elongated/contracted, a slit pipe capable of easily adjusting rigidity or a slit pipe in which a torque transmission property balanced on a circumferential cross section is improved, or a guide wire which employs the slit pipe and can be easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A slit pipe 1 comprises, in any other region than both end portions in a length direction, a slit 5 which is formed spirally with respect to the length direction, and a plurality of beams formed in the middle of the spiral slit so as to be spread over the slit. Thus, not only the slit pipe per se is made flexible to prevent slit pipe end portions from being loosened but also a torque transmission property at least in one-way rotation is improved and the slit pipe can be prevented from being axially elongated/contracted.
