    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined cryogenic refrigerator enabling cooling to a cryogenic temperature such as approximately 1 K (kelvin), enabling gas conduction cooling and solid conduction cooling by using one refrigerator, including an optical window exhibiting good visibility in vacuum even in the temperature region, and also enabling cooling in a magnetic field.SOLUTION: In a top load type refrigerator, a cooling head of the refrigerator for cooling to a cryogenic temperature, a sample tank in which helium gas is filled and an object to be cooled is suspended to cool the object to be cooled by conduction cooling by the helium gas and a heat transfer plate interconnecting a cold end of the cooling head and the sample tank are stored in a vacuum container. The combined cryogenic refrigerator is constituted by providing an 1 K cooling part communicated with the sample tank via a pipe from the sample tank and connecting the object to be cooled to inside of the sample tank or an 1 K pot to cool the object to be cooled.
