摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical access device having both functions of a zero seal and an instrument seal and adaptable to a wide range of instruments having diameters up to about 37 mm. SOLUTION: The surgical access device includes a single valve that forms a seal with a body wall and constitutes an access channel into a body cavity. The valve forms the zero seal in the absence of an instrument and forms the instrument seal in the presence of an instrument having a diameter up to about 37 mm. The valve includes a gel material, and the access channel can include a protective sleeve for wound protection during insertion and withdrawal of a sharp surgical instrument. The valve further includes a cap ring which may be inserted or molded with the gel material. The protective seal may be bonded or molded around an inner diameter of the cap ring. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve issues of conventional trocars that another trocar is required for matching equipment dimensions and the trocars are complex in structure and high priced. SOLUTION: The trocar assembly by this invention includes a cannula extended between the proximal end and the distal end along the axis line, a sealing housing communicated with the cannula to define a working channel, and a roller disposed inside the sealing housing. The roller is rotatable centering on the axis. Further, the trocar assembly is equipped with an elastic material integrated with the roller and having characteristics of reacting to an instrument inserted into the working channel to be easily torn. When the trocar becomes rotatable by the instrument inserted into the roller, tearing of the elastic material is suppressed by rotating the elastic material relatively to the axis.
