    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the bearing strength of column concretes on the upper and lower sides of flanges by effectively restraining them by a simple structure, well store the column concretes, and prevent the column concretes from being ruptured and peeled and fallen.
      SOLUTION: In this joint structure of a reinforcement concrete column 1 and a steel frame 2, columns are made of reinforced concrete and a beam is made of steel and the steel beam 2 extends through a column-to-beam joint. Vertical ribs 9 are so installed at the upper and lower parts of the upper and lower flanges 2a of the steel beam 2 along the edges 2a of the flanges as to be opposed and parallel to each other. The column concretes are restrained from three directions of the vertical ribs 9 and the lateral reinforcement 11 of the column portion.
