In the slide type variable resistor 1, the slider 13 slides with the operation part 13b inserted into the long hole part 14b. An elastic part 13c, elastically contacting with the one side wall and crimping the slider 13 to the other side wall, is provided in the slider 13.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior case for an electronic apparatus which achieves the reduction of the size and the thickness by mounting conductive patterns on the case, and to provide a manufacturing method of the exterior case.SOLUTION: A first film 12 forming an exterior appearance in which characters and coloring are exhibited and a second film 13 including multiple conductive patterns and having flexibility are respectively set in predetermined molds. Then, a melting resin is injected between the first film 12 and the second film 13 to embed the first film 12 and the second film 13 in a base 11 formed by a synthetic resin. In this process, an upper case 10 is formed by integrating the first film 12, the second film 13, and the base 11. This manufacturing method allows the conductive patterns to be mounted in the upper case 10, and thus the size and thickness reduction of the print substrate is achieved. Therefore, the size and the thickness of an entire apparatus are reduced.
