摘要： PURPOSE: To simplify the system, by performing a variable display of a distortion-free max. recording level at the medium range of a tape used and a saturated recording level at the treble thereof adjacent to a recording input signal level display of a level meter according to the amount of recording bias.
CONSTITUTION: AC bias current, namely, the amount of recording bias proportional to the supply voltage Vd is outputted from a bias oscillator 1 while the voltage Vd is corrected to the one with a level shift circuit 3 according to the type of a tape. The corrected voltage is inputted into wind comparators 4aW4d for discrimination of MOL (saturated recording level at the treble) and window comparators 5aW5d for discrimination of MML (distortion-free max. recording level) so that one output each both the comparators will be a high level. Thus, one of light emitting elements 6aW6d for MOL display and one of light emitting elements 7aW7d for MML display are made to emit light adjacent to a recording input signal level display.
