Thus, a large gear ratio of a rear planetry gear set can be attained without increasing the radial dimensions of a front planetry gear set portion on the whole.

When a pressure regulating chamber 101k is interconnected through to a port 101f and hydraulic pressure inside the chamber 101f goes down, the valve 102 is pushed upward by dint of the spring 103, intercepting a space between the chamber 101k and the port 101f. And, with repetition of this motion, the discharge oil of the pump 16 is regulated to being constant pressure. In this case, hydraulic pressure to be fed to a second brake is led into a chamber 101g via a fluid passage 15 and simultaneously hydraulic pressure to be discharged from a port 111f or 111g of a manual valve 110 is led into chamber 101l via a fluid passage 24 and made so as to render the size of pressure regulation adjustable.
