SOLUTION: The DC ground fault detector is attached to a non-isolated type power converter 102 which converts the DC power of a DC power source 101 to AC power to be interconnected to an AC power system 103 having grounding, and detects the grounding current flowing from the DC power source 101 via the grounding point of the AC power system 103 to detect a ground fault. The secondary winding of a current transformer 109 inserted into a DC line or an AC line is applied with AC voltage, and the absolute average value of the excitation current of the current transformer 109 during operation of the power converter 102 is compared with a set value by each cycle to perform the DC ground fault detection.
