    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seeding system for accurately and automatically seeding gel-coated seeds 50 to all cells 61 in a seedling growing cell tray 15 in the system for seeding the gel-coated seeds 50 prepared by coating the seeds with a gel agent in the seedling growing cell tray 15.
      SOLUTION: The seedling system comprises a conveyor unit 1, a hole-making unit 2 and a seeding unit 3. When the seedling growing cell tray 15 is conveyed to the hole-making unit 2, holes are automatically made in all cells 61 by moving a hole-making rod 24 forward and backward without stopping a conveyor belt 11 at every time when each cell line come to the hole-making unit. Subsequently, when the seedling growing cell tray 15 is conveyed to the seeding unit 3, the gel-coated seeds are automatically seeded in all cells 61 by stopping the conveyor belt 11 when each cell line come to the seeding unit.
