    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerial throw-down type sinking body with an automatic signal generating function capable of automatically generating a signal when a relative distance between a target becomes the optimal position without requiring to set operation depth.

      SOLUTION: An arriving acoustic wave is received by a cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 4. A dipole directional x-axial direction signal 1a and a dipole directional y-axial direction signal 1b retrieved from facing two pairs of inner electrodes 6a, 6c and 6b, 6d are converted into a toroidal directional signal 3 by a signal processor 23. The toroidal directional signal 3 is amplified by an amplifier 24a, and is converted into an omnidirectional signal 2. The omnidirectional signal 2 is input into between a primary neutral point of input transformers 13a, 13b and a peripheral electrode 7 of the cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 4 to perform wave transmission, thereby operating wave transmission/reception simultaneously using the cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 4.

      SOLUTION: Between two cylindrical piezoelectric vibrators 2a and 2b, node plates 7 are coaxially layered and disposed and polarities of the two cylindrical piezoelectric vibrators 2a, 2b at a side of the node plates 7 are made identical. On the other end face of the cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 2a, a front mass 3 is layered and disposed through an insulating seat 6a and on the other end face of the cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 2b, a rear mass 4 is layered and disposed through an insulating seat 6b. They are fastened by a shaft 5 as a whole. A lead wire 8b is pulled from the cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 2a at a side of the front mass 3, a lead wire 8c is pulled from the cylindrical piezoelectric vibrator 2b at a side of the rear mass 4, and they are connected to balanced input terminals 9a, 9b of a primary side winding wire of an insulated transformer 11. From the side of the node plates 7, a transmission signal is input between the lead wire 8a and a pull wire from a neutral point of the primary side winding wire. Both terminals of a secondary side winding wire of the insulated transformer 11 become reception signal outputs.
