    • PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the power of a runner by providing the hard plate with plural small projections in the specific range on the front side of a forefoot part and plural large projections larger than these small projections on the rear side of the forefoot part in addition to plural spikes. CONSTITUTION:This hard plate 2 is provided with the plural small projections 3 in at least half the front part of the forefoot part and the plural large projections 4 and 5 larger than the small projections 3 on the rear side of the forefoot part in addition to the plural spikes 1. The small projections 3 are formed to a triangular pyramid shape and the one flank thereof is so formed as to orthogonally intersect with a center line 6 of the shoes and to face the rear side. The large projections 4 and 5 are formed to the triangular pyramid shape and the one flank thereof is set at angles theta0 and theta1 to the center line 6 of the shoes. The theta0 and theta1 are preferably set at 14 deg.. The hard plate 2 and the projections 3 to 5 are integrally molded of a thermoplastic resin, thermosetting resin, etc. The small projections 3 are set at 4 to 5mm height and the length of the base thereof at 3 to 5mm. The large projections 4, 5 are formed lower than the spikes 1 and larger than the small projections 3. As a result, the power of the runner is efficiently exhibited.
