    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending device in which the input error is removed and operability and safety are improved by making the input operation of a die data by a worker unnecessary and automatically inputting the die data to a controller.
      SOLUTION: This device is a bending device for performing the bending work of a work, which includes the controller 31 by which the input die data of the bending data inputted from an input unit 33 are compared with the actual die data read with a read sensor 25 from an ID chip 23 provided on a die, the bending work of the work is performed in the case that both data agree, and warning is issued in the case that both data disagree, and the controller 31 is constituted so that the bending data are prepared again in the case that both data disagree. The die is a die which is freely attachable and detachable to a die mounting part of the bending device and the ID chip 23 in which the die data are stored is provided in the mounting part of the die which is mounted in the die mounting part.

Both h1, h2 are compared by an opening distance arithmetic means 37, the necessary margin value is given farther and the actual necessary opening distance between blades is operated.

    • PURPOSE:To designate all processes on one picture by giving a number onto a solid figure or a development of a product, designating a stop line and a bending line by said number at every process on a bending process input picture and generating a schedule of all bending processes. CONSTITUTION:A product shape input and a working information input are executed. Product shape data shows that shape data of a solid figure has been inputted, and working information is data for designating a shape of a die for executing a simulation afterward. Subsequently, a number is given to a segment corresponding to a bending line and a stop line. Next, a schedule of all processes is generated by inputting the stop line, the bending line and die number of a punch and a die at every process on another bending order data input picture. In case when it is desired to confirm the designated bending order, it can be executed by displaying all the processes on one picture confirming an error and correcting it, and thereafter, pushing a button of 'end'. The input contents are inputted to a storage device and utilized for the subsequent processing. In such a way, the bending order can be inputted in a lump on one picture, and the bending input can be executed easily by simple knowledge.

    • PURPOSE:To automatically position a butt member at the necessary position without colliding with a die by comparing the present position of the butt member of a backgage with the position to be moved for the succeeding working and driving the upper and lower directions driving means of the backgage. CONSTITUTION:The butt member 41 of a backgage 25 is driven in the upper and lower directions by the driving of the upper and lower direction driving means 43 and driven in the before and behind directions advancing and retreating for a punch 7 and die 9 by the before and behind direction driving means 45. The upper and lower positions and before and behind positions thereof are detected by detection means 47, 49 respectively and the present position of the butt member 41 and the position to be moved for the succeeding working are compared by a judging means 51. Based on this judgement of the judging means 51 the upper and lower directions driving means 43 is driven so that the lower face of the butt member 41 may comes to the position of the upper side of the die 9 prior to reaching to the end edge Q of the backgage side of the die 9 in case of approaching the butt member 41 to the die 9, for instance.

    • PURPOSE:To quickly, surely and automatically determine a bending die by checking in advance the availability to a machine and a product and decreasing many dies to those which have the availability, and executing an interference check only with regard to the dies which have been decreased. CONSTITUTION:Die characteristic data is registered in advance. This data consists of a pressureproof degree, die height and die length of a punch 1 and a die 3, groove width V, a punch tip curve R, a punch tip angle alpha, a die tip angle beta, etc. By a pressureproof check, the number of dies is decreased, and from die height B, C, stroke length is checked, and die length, groove width V/plate thickness T, the minimum flange length, bending-in R and a bending angle theta are studied. By selecting said step, the number of dies is decreased to several pieces to ten and several pieces as the dies which can be utilized for a machine and a product, an interference check is executed by a simulation of bending of every process, and an available die is selected. In such a way, the number of dies which are brought to interference check is decreased, and the die which has been determined can always be utilized.
