    • PURPOSE: To effectively disconnect the high-voltage direct current by directly connecting a feeder line of a first field through to a first point to be disconnected, and directly connecting at least one of feeder lines of a second field through to a second point, and while connecting at least one of the residual feeder lines to the same second point through a circuit breaker. CONSTITUTION: A field through 3 includes basic feeder lines 31, 32, and these feeder lines are directly connected to a first point P to be disconnected outside the field through. A field through 4 includes two feeder lines 41, 42, and the feeder line 42 is drawn from a low-temperature maintaining device at a point N and directly connected to a second point Q, and the feeder line 41 is connected to the point Q through a circuit breaker 60. The feeder lines 31, 32 are connected to the feeder lines 41, 42 inside the low-temperature maintaining device through superconductive coils 51, 52. When the defective current achieves an intensity at 1.51 time of the nominal current, the superconductive coils 51, 52 are automatically changed to the resisting condition, and the current is immediately lowered. The residual current is disconnected by a circuit breaker D so as to finally disconnect the high-voltage direct current.
