When the pressing force in the arrow direction to the knob part 5 is released, the knob part 5 is moved back to the initial position by the energizing force of the elastic member 6 and the automatic returning force of a push switch 1e.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor actuator which does not lower the precision of detection of an output shaft angle and prevents durability degradation of a potentiometer even if upper and lower cases have a fitting error.SOLUTION: The motor actuator includes an output shaft 41 whose upper end is supported by an upper case 11 and lower end is supported by a lower case 12, and a rotation angle detector 51 which detects a rotation angle of the output shaft 41. The upper and lower cases have rising portions 13 inside thereof. The output shaft 41 has an insertion portion 45 having a non-circular section. The rotation angle detector 51 has a rotor 53 having an attachment hole 52 in which the insertion portion 45 of the output shaft 41 is inserted, a non-rotating body 54 which pivotally supports the rotor 53, and a detecting mechanism which detects a rotation angle of the output shaft 41 on the basis of the rotation of the rotor 53. The non-rotating body 54 is held between the rising portions 13 of the upper and lower cases 11 and 12. The inner peripheral surface of the attachment hole 52 or the insertion portion 45 is provided with a rib 57 which regulates the insertion portion 45 so that it comes into contact with only part of the rotor in its thickness direction.

The pair of connection pieces 10b and 11b are brought into elastic contact with the pair of electrodes 13b and 13b of the chip-type light-emitting element 13, respectively, while at the same time the chip-type light-emitting element 13 is held between the pair of connection pieces 10b and 11b to hold it to the rotating member 9.
