    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve strength and safety by forming L-shaped sectional reinforcing projecting edges at the upper edge sections and outer edge sections of a pair of plate-shaped rotary members, to which inner end sections are pivotally attached. SOLUTION: Lug pieces 13, 14 formed while oppositely facing the upper sections of the inner edges of a pair of plate-shaped rotary members 11, 12 are connected by a pivot pin 15, and the rotary metal fitting M is constituted. L-shaped sectional reinforcing projecting edge sections 11a, 12a, 11b, 12b inwards projected to leg bodies 6, 7 are formed at the upper edges and outer edges of the members 11, 12 respectively. The metal fitting M abutts on the main body sections of the members 11, 12 against left-right both side-face upper end sections of the leg bodies 6, 7 and is festered by screws 20. Accordingly, the strength of the rotary members can be increased while strength at a time when the rotary members are spread particularly in a ladder shape can be augmented because the L-shaped sectional reinforcing projecting edges are formed, and a clearance between the upper end faces of the leg bodies is widened by the thickness sections of the reinforcing projecting edges because the upper-edge side reinforcing projecting edges of both rotary members are abutted at the time when the rotary members are formed in the ladder shape, and a serious accident such as the cutting of a hand and a finger can be avoided even when the hand and the finger are held.
