摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel silsesquioxane-containing polymer being solvent- soluble and having a high melting point, high heat resistance and high flame retardany, which polymer has a pentacyclo [9. 5. 1. 13.9. 15.15. 17.13] octasiloxane (PCOSI) skeleton. SOLUTION: Provided is silsesquioxane-containing polymer of formula I (wherein R and R' are each an alkyl optionally having a substituent, or an aryl optionally having substituents; q and q' are each 0 or a positive integer; m is 2-4; m' is 2 or 4; m" is 2-4; and n, n', and n" are each 0 or a positive integer, provided that at least one them is an integer of 2 or greater). The polymer is obtained by the hydrosilylation polymerization of a vinylsiloxane of formula II with PCOSI in the presence of a platinum-containing catalyst. The reaction can be performed at a temperature from 0 deg.C to the boiling point of the solvent used, and can be practiced at room temperature. In the reaction, the ratio of PCOSI to the vinyl vinylsiloxane is 2:1 to 1:4 by mole.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a soluble alkylpolysilane by reacting calcium disilicide with iodine monochloride in the presence of a transition metal and reacting the obtained chloropolysilane with a metal alkylate. CONSTITUTION:A calcium disilicide powder and a specified amount of a transition metal such as a copper powder are suspended in a solvent such as CCl4, and iodine monochloride is added dropwise to the suspension under agitation in a nitrogen atmosphere. The reaction is performed at a reaction temperature of 40 deg.C or above and/or for a reaction time of 3hr or longer, and the reaction mixture is concentrated in a vacuum to obtain a soluble chloropolysilane comprising structural units of SiCl3, SiCl2 and SiCl and having a weight- average molecular weight of about 300-1000000. This chloropolysilane is dissolved in a solvent such as ether, about 1-10 equialents with respect to the Si atoms, of a metal alkylate such as methyllithium is added dropwise to the solution under cooling with ice, and the product is purified after the completion of the reaction to produce a soluble alkylpolysilane such as methylpolysilane comprising structural units of Si(CH3)3, Si(CH3)2, SiCH3, etc., freed from Si-H bonds and having a weight-average molecular weight of 500 or above.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce the ceramics having excellent formability in high yield and efficiency by heat-treating a specific organic silicon polymer in an inert atmosphere at a prescribed temperature or above. CONSTITUTION:A vinylsilane compound such as vinylmethyldichlorosilane is added to (A) a 1-silyl-2-silylethane compound of formula I [R to R are (substituted) alkyl], e.g. 1,2-bis (chlorodimethylsilyl) ethane and/or (B) a 1-silyl-2- silylethylene compound of formula II [R to R are (substituted) alkyl], e.g. 1,2-bis(chlorodimethylsilyl)ethylene and polymerized in the presence of an alkali metal to obtain an organic silicon polymer. The objective ceramic can be produced by heat-treating the organic silicon polymer in an inert atmosphere at >=1000 deg.C. The molar ratio of (the components A and/or B)/(the vinylsilane compound) is preferably 20/1 to 3/2.

This polymer not only can be used as a material for silicon carbide ceramics but also has a possible use as a photoreactive polymer of, e.g. a resist in virtue of its sigma-pi conjugation between the Si-Si bond part and the aryl.

CONSTITUTION:A disilane (e.g. 1,2-diphenyltetramethyldisilane) is reacted with an isonitrile (e.g. N-cyclohexylisonitrile) in the presence of a platinum catalyst such as tetrakis(triphenylphosphine) Platinum or platinum chloride to give a bissilylimine (e.g. N-cyclohexylbis(phenyidimethylsilyl)imine. In this method, a readily handleable platinum catalyst is used, a reaction product is easily obtained and is readily separated and purified. This method is industrially advantageous.

The aimed substance having a high content of useful isomers can be obtained in high yield with suppressed hydrogenation and isomerization of double bonds by the above-mentioned reaction without using phosphine ligands. Compounds expressed by formula III (R is alkyl, aryl, etc.; R is H, alkyl, aryl, etc.) and compounds expressed by formula IV which are obtained by the above-mentioned reaction are novel substances and useful as an intermediate for medicines, agricultural chemicals, etc.
