摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of covering a window at the side of a vehicle interior of an automobile, covering an airbag with a cover body with satisfactory appearance, and moving the cover body smoothly when deploying the airbag. SOLUTION: This airbag device 1 arranged at the roof side of the vehicle is provided with the airbag 2, a resin-made garnish 18, a resin-made hinge 27, a protector 28, and a bracket 26 fixed on a vehicle body. The hinge 27 is attached to the bracket 26 and supports the garnish 18. When the airbag 2 is deployed, the garnish 18 and the hinge 27 are elastically deformed. A stopper 54 of the bracket 26 is abutted on the garnish 18. Consequently, the satisfactory appearance of the airbag can be maintained while the lower end of the garnish 18 is abutted on a cover abutting receiving part 86 of the protector 28. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably spread a bag with a simple structure. SOLUTION: A trapezoid hood part 5c having a side in a diffuser 2b side shortened and an opposite side lengthened is formed as one body on a flap 5 having an inflator 2 fitted on a bottom part of a case 1 in a housed condition and a folded bag 3 stored in a top part of the case and including a cover part 5a preventing spontaneous spread of the bag. The hood part covers the bag in an initial spread condition and breaks after that to spread the bag eventually. Since an inflation shape of the bag in the initial spread condition can be freely established by the hood part even if a gas jet outlet is provided at a biased position to the bag, inflation amount of the bag in the gas jet outlet side where gas inflow pressure to the bag is intensified is reduced. A final spread shape of the bag after breakage of the hood part can be made, for example large at a center part, and equal in left and right by increasing inflation amount in a side of lower inflow pressure. 摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly deploy a door part by breaking a cover body of an airbag device from a desired position. SOLUTION: A cover body 11 covering a folded airbag is constituted by welding an inner part 22 made of a flexible resin to a lower side of an outer part 21 made of a hard resin. When the airbag is inflated, a tear line 24 forming in the outer part 21 is broken, and a door scheduled part C is deployed to form a projecting port of the airbag. The door scheduled part C and an outline part D are connected to each other by a deformable hinge part provided on the inner part 22. A plurality of deformation line parts 39 are formed in the inner part 22 orthogonal to a center tear line 24a constituting the tear line 24. The inner part 22 is easily deformable by the deformation line parts 39. When deploying the airbag, the tear line 24 is broken from a breakage starting position 27 at a center part of the center tear line 24a to smoothly deploy the door part with good balance.
