    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse unit protection cover which prevents separation of a second cover by suppressing breakage of a hinge part when opening the second cover, and maintains an open state of the second cover. SOLUTION: The fuse unit protection cover 1 includes a first cover 2 and the second cover 3 connected via a first hinge part 7, and covers an upper part of a fuse unit. The first cover 2 and the second cover 3 relatively rotate around the first hinge part 7 to open the second cover 3. The fuse unit protection cover includes: an abutting plate 4 connected to the first cover 2 via a second hinge part 9 and abuts on outer surfaces of both of the first cover 2 and second cover 3 by turning around the second hinge part 9; and an engagement member 5, which is arranged on the abutting plate 4 and the other cover, engages mutually when the abutting plate 4 abuts on the outer surfaces of the first cover 2 and second cover 3, and maintains the open state of the second cover 3 in this engaged state.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse capable of improving fusing properties in its rarely short-circuiting region without complication of the shape of a fusible part, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same capable of reducing cost by reducing the number of manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: The fuse 1 has a coupling board part 9 where a fusible part 7 electrically connecting a pair of terminals 3, 4 is formed in an integrated manner with the pair of terminals with the same metal material as the pair of terminals, and a low-melting-point metal part 11 welded to the coupling board part 9. On the coupling board part 9, a pair of marking grooves 13, 14 are made across the surface of the board part 9a, and the low-melting-point metal part 11 is welded in a laminated state with the surface of the board part 9a between the pair of marking grooves 13, 14 and the pair of marking grooves 13, 14.
