摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and compact sea water desalination system. SOLUTION: This sea water desalination apparatus has a float 1 for floating the whole apparatus, an electric dialyzer 2 provided under sea water and for desalting sea water, a desalted water tank 3 storing treated desalted water and a solar cell panel 4 provided on the sea water to be a power source for the electric dialyzer 2. The desalted water tank is formed longitudinal-tube-like to be erected, and the electric dialyzer, a ballast tank 6 and a control mechanism of weight, or the like, are attached to the lower part of the desalted water tank. The solar cell panel 4 directly supplies DC voltage to the electric dialyzer. Chlorine produced in an anode in the desalting treatment is used for chlorine sterilization. The desalted water and the concentrated salt water are separated from each other by passing sea water to be desalted in upward flow and sea water to become the concentrated salt water in downward flow between ion exchange membranes by utilizing the difference in specific gravities.
