    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum dewatering apparatus for sand which can continuously, efficiently, and sufficiently dewater wet sand such as one which is classified/water-washed by a classifier and discharged. SOLUTION: The vacuum dewatering apparatus for sand is constructed as follows: a charge section weir 3 is installed at the upper side of a rotor 2 which is arranged so that its axis direction is horizontal and which is rotated around its axis as the rotation center by a rotary drive means 1; in the rotor 2, a plurality of water suction pipes 12 for leading water sucked from wet sand charged into the rotor 2 from the charge section weir 3 are fixed, and so is a water collecting pipe 13 which communicates with the water suction pipes 12 and is given suction power by a suction means; a suction control means 6 controls the suction power so that the suction means gives the suction power to the water-collecting pipe 13 only when the sand is being charged until just before it is discharged; and after the completion of sucking, the sand on the rotor 2 is discharged out by a scraper 7.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading and crushing apparatus capable of providing good improved soil in which small pieces of a viscous material composed of e.g. a moisture-containing sludge and an improver are mixed uniformly in the form of grains.
