    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-division system stereoscopic image display device and a stereoscopic image display method, which are able to restrict occurrence of cross-talk remarkably.SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display device as one form of the present invention includes: a correction part, an image display part, a writing part, an attainment level calculating part, and a timing control part. The correction part corrects a gradation of a pixel for an image signal to be processed for the right eye or left eye. The writing part writes the image signal corrected by the correction part, into a display pixel of the image display part. The attainment level calculating part calculates an attainment gradation, which is a gradation the display pixel attains after a period of one sub-frame after the corrected image signal is written in a display pixel, based on the response characteristic of the display pixel. The timing control part controls an opening/closing timing of glasses according to the writing timing of the writing part. The correction part corrects the gradation of the pixel for the image signal to be processed, based on the difference between the writing timing of the writing part and the opening/closing timing of the glasses and based on the attainment gradation of a pixel before one sub-frame.
