    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorption device having high recovery efficiency and excellent environmental compatibility at a low cost. SOLUTION: The adsorption device includes an adsorbent comprising particles which adsorb matter to be adsorbed contained in a fluid to be treated, a carrier having a pore which is at least larger than the diameter of the adsorbent particle, a pore-diameter changing means for changing the diameter of the pore, an adsorbent carrier supplying means for supplying the carrier with the adsorbent when the pore diameter is larger than the adsorbent particle diameter, an adsorbent-carrier connecting means for connecting the adsorbent to the carrier by making the pore diameter equal to or smaller than the adsorbent particle diameter by means of the pore diameter changing means, an adsorbent-matter to be adsorbed contact means for making the matter to be adsorbed by the adsorbent by bringing the fluid to be treated into contact with the adsorbent connected to the carrier, and an adsorbent recovery means for recovering the adsorbent holding the adsorbed matter from the carrier by making the pore diameter larger than the adsorbent particle diameter by means of the pore diameter changing means.
