摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and reduce the size of whole constitution including cooling equipments by restiricting the containing space of liquid metal inside a reactor vessel and thus extremely avoiding the possibility of coolant leak to outside. SOLUTION: The system comprises a core 2 consisting of nuclear fuel, a core barrel 3, an annular reflector 4, an inner partition wall 6 forming inside a coolant flow path of primary coolant, an outer partition wall 7 surrounding the outside of the coolant flow path, a neutron shield 8 surrounding the outside of the core, electromagnetic pumps 13 arranged annularly in the coolant flow path above the neutron shield, an annular steam generator 14 for generating steam by heat-exchanging with the primary coolant in the reactor vessel, a reactor vessel 9 containing all structures, and a guard vessel 10. The primary coolant having assended in the core is introduced in the steam generator from the above, flows down inside, be exhausted from the bottom after heat exchanging, assends the gap between the inner periphery of the steam generator and the outer periphery of the electromagnetic pumps, be sucked in the electromagnetic pumps from the upper end and flows down into the core in the constitution.
