SOLUTION: The line sensor elevation angle measuring apparatus includes: a target 1 of which the surface includes a black part 12 and a white part 13 with a linear boundary line 11 therebetween and which is arranged so that its surface is parallel to the vertical direction and that the boundary line 11 is parallel to the horizontal direction to be positioned at predetermined height h from a standard surface; a line sensor 2 of which the focal length f and the horizontal distance d with respect to the target 1 are known and which is installed in the standard surface so that its scanning direction is perpendicular to the boundary line 11 to take an image of the boundary line 11; and an image processing unit 3 which performs processing on the image taken by the line sensor 2 to determine the position of the boundary line 11 on the image and calculates the elevation angle θ of the line sensor 2 on the basis of the obtained position of the boundary line 11 on the image.
