摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio transmitting unit which is capable of regulating a variation in the timing of IQ signals outputted from a digital modulating unit, eliminating their distortion, and transmitting signals of high quality. SOLUTION: The digital modulating unit 21 subjects the inputted base band signals to band width limitation, upsampling for desired sampling frequencies, and digital quadrature modulation for each carrier frequency so as to perform multi-carrier composition. A D/A converter 22 converts signals digitally modulated by the digital modulating unit 21 to analog signals. An IQ timing adjusting unit 23 adjusts inter-IQ timing, for instance, by making the wires of I phase or Q phase longer in length to output signal of D/A converter 22. An analog quadrature modulator 24 up-converts the signals adjusted by the IQ timing adjusting unit 23 to a target RF frequency band and outputs the modulated wave signals of RF band. 摘要： A transmitter apparatus wherein the peak level of a signal to be transmitted can be effectively reduced. Peak factor producing means (31-35) produces a peak factor in accordance with a ratio of a level threshold of the signal to the peak level thereof so as to determine the peak of the signal. Peak reduction coefficient producing means (36,37) produces, as a peak reduction coefficient, a result of weighting, by use of a predetermined window function, the peak factor produced by the peak factor producing means. Signal level reduction means (25,26) reduces the level of the signal by use of the peak reduction coefficient produced by the peak reduction coefficient producing means.

摘要： A transmitter suppresses a peak level of a multi-carrier signal produced by synthesizing a plurality of carrier signals. Specifically, a peak level suppression signal for a multi-carrier signal is generated. The generated peak level suppression signal is adjusted in accordance with the levels of respective carriers constituting the multi-carrier signal. And, the adjusted peak level suppression signal for each carrier is subtracted from an input signal, thereby generating a multi-carrier signal whose peak level is suppressed.
