    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity antenna of a space diversity system which can achieve miniaturization while holding enough reception performance to reception electric waves from a required direction.SOLUTION: A diversity antenna of a space diversity system 10 has a dielectric material 13 positioned between a first antenna 11 and a second antenna 12. Each of the antennas 11 and 12 is a reverse F type antenna standing on a bottom board 14. Since the dielectric material 13 is positioned between each of the antennas 11 and 12, the effective length between each of the antennas 11 and 12 is longer than the actual distance due to a wave length shortening effect because of this dielectric material 13. Thus, connection between each of the antennas 11 and 12 can be restrained and directivity of each of the antennas 11 and 12 can be restrained from falling from the directivity (non-directivity) when they are separate. Therefore, it becomes possible to provide a diversity antenna 10 which is miniaturized enough while securing enough reception performance of a space diversity system.

      SOLUTION: The on-vehicle antenna 1 comprises a spiral antenna 2 and a ground plate 3. The spiral antenna 2 is formed by copper wires in spiral so as to function as a radiation element.
